- When accessing student records on behalf of a school, Immersive Fox acts as a “School Official” under FERPA.

Immersive Fox maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect student data, including:
- Encryption of data in transit and at rest
- Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication
- Audit logging of access to student records
- Regular security assessments and updates
4. Data Access, Correction, and Deletion
- Schools can request access to, correction of, or deletion of student data at any time.
- Immersive Fox provides mechanisms to support these requests efficiently and securely.
5. Data Retention
- Student data is retained only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by the school.
- Upon request, data can be securely deleted or exported according to school instructions.
6. Employee Training
All employees of Immersive Fox who handle student data are trained annually on FERPA requirements and our internal data privacy and security policies.
